Jon is a Financial Advisor and a lifelong member of the Lake Minnetonka community. As a financial advisor, his priority is your financial success and overall satisfaction with the service he provides. As a local with strong ties to the community, Jon believes in building long term relationships with his clients based on trust and understanding. 

After high school in Minnetonka, Jon graduated with a degree in business management from Montana State University in Bozeman. He became a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) and also achieved his Series 7 License held with LPL Financial. He's been working in the finance industry since 1998 and formed his own firm in 2009. Jon specializes in financial planning for retirement but enjoys working with clients in all stages in life. He's specially qualified in insurance and estate planning as well as IRA and 401(k) planning. Jon's guiding principle in serving clients is to do what's right for them, breaking down complex financial situations into easily understood concepts that help clients achieve their goals. Most of our clients are local however I am licensed in 8 states and work with clients all over the country. Jon often says the best part of his job is spending time with clients. 

Jon lives in Excelsior MN with his wife, Leslie, and daughter, Riley. Together they enjoy the outdoors including softball, hockey, golf, pickle ball, biking, skiing, boating, photography, and travel. Jon is an avid community volunteer and actively supports Minnetonka youth softball, youth hockey, the Klondike Dog Race, and the Excelsior Chamber of Commerce.
